About Mae's Place

Finding My Peace

Mae's Mission

Mae’s Place is a young girls and women empowerment center, providing support to inner city kids, kids with complex challenges, and women of all backgrounds. A place where young girls and women can come find a piece of hope; hope for the now and the future, through the empowerment of positive skill building modalities. Mae’s Place will allow girls and women to build one another using group and individual experiences.

"A Safe Haven".

My Experience

With over 20 years of experience as a Facilitator and Liaison in the behavioral health system, including work in group homes, inpatient and juvenile facilities, I have provided support to young girls and survivors of sex trafficking. I have conducted one-on-one sessions for complex cases and served as an advocate for women globally. Possessing a degree in psychology and facilitation certificates, my deepest passion lies in supporting young girls and women. Mae's Place is envisioned as a cornerstone where they can come to find self-empowerment and empower others in turn.
